We understand the need to have a continued income while studying. The student friendly program allows for flexibility, while the mentoring program allows professionals to accept clients while learning.
-
The Diploma in Canine Psychotherapy and the Foster to Adoption Program stand above any other program not only because of the advanced practices, but because the Mentoring Program.
Other mentoring programs simply provide the students the opportunity to “virtually shadow”. The ICP program includes this directly into the program with dozens of recordings of real life training sessions within the program, as well as discussions and one-on -one guidance.
So, ICP takes the Mentorship Program to a whole new level! The personal advisors provide guidance and coaching as students pursue their own goals as trainers, fosters, animal communicators, therapy dog trainers, job-dog trainers, volunteers, pet care providers, pet loss councellors, animal advocates to name a few!
The advisors provide hands-on guidance and coaching, allowing student to gain confidence and experience, as well as generate an income in their own area of expertise and interest.
In other words, we do not tell students what they must do…. we guide and coach them on their own path to success.
-
Advanced skills and knowledge are essential for success. It is common for our students to have recuperated the cost of courses BEFORE completing the course!
-

Depending on your geographical location, different organizations have positioned themselves as governing bodies with the commendable task of standardizing the industry. Undoubtedly, it is beneficial to ensure the information provided to practitioners and pet parents is effective, non-aversive and evidence-based.
I.C.P. ensures all the information we provide meets those standards. We would not have it any other way.
If there is a particular organization you look to for guidance, or holds status in your region, please reach out to us to inquire about our relationship with that particular organization.
There are many organizations in which ICP has positive relations with; however, there are many we are unaware of. We are happy to explore mutually beneficial relations.
Hear What Our Students Are Saying
“I have never taken a course that provides such individualized attention, applicable tools, helpful tips and guidelines, “real life” experiences, and advanced knowledge. This program sets a new level of standard in canine behavior education.”
“Witnessing a dog process and decide to continue walking without reacting, was so different from anything I had experienced when using reinforcement and rewards. My client cried tears of joy. She could feel her dog’s comfort.”
“My journey as a trainer started with a positive reinforcement certification, which was great, but I wanted to keep learning to better serve my clients. I engaged in many canine behavior related courses, and nothing compares to the programs offered by ICP. ”
